Muladhara: From the Ground Up – Stay Rooted in Strength | Lewdo

Namaste Great People,

Have You Ever Heard of Chakras? They are Energy Centers in Our Bodies that Help Us Feel Balanced and Focused. There are Seven Main Chakras, and the First One is called Muladhara. Muladhara is Located at the Base of Our Spine, and is Extremely Important for Grounding, Stability, Survival Instincts, and Regulating the Body’s Physical & Emotional Responses.

Muladhara is considered the Starting Point for the Awakening of Kundalini Energy, which is a Powerful Force that can help us Feel More Alive and Connected. Muladhara is Represented by the color Red and is Associated with the Element of Earth… When Muladhara is Balanced, We Feel Secure and Grounded; having a Stronger Foundation. However, when Muladhara is Out of Balance, We May Feel Anxious, Fearful, and Disconnected from Ourselves and Others.

Ground Yourself Today with the Power of Muladhara (1st Chakra)

Here are Steps to Open & Balance Your Muladhara Today:

  1. Mountain Pose: Stand Tall with Your Feet Hip-Distance Apart and Your Arms at Your Sides. Feel the Ground Beneath Your Feet and Imagine Roots Growing from the Soles of Your Feet, Deep into the Earth. Take a Few Deep Breaths and Feel Your Body become More Grounded & Stable.

  2. Child's Pose: Kneel on the Floor with Your Big Toes Touching and Your Knees Hip-Distance Apart. Lower Your Hips Towards Your Heels and Stretch Your Arms Out in Front of You. Rest Your Forehead on the Floor & Breathe Deeply. Feel the Support of the Earth Beneath You and Imagine All of Your Worries Melting Away.

  3. Square Breathing: Sit Comfortably and Inhale for Four Counts, Hold Your Breath for Four Counts, Exhale for Four Counts, and Hold Your Breath for Four Counts. Repeat this Pattern Several Times, Focusing on Your Breath and the Sensations within Your Body.

In conclusion, Muladhara is an Important Energy Center that Can Help You Feel More Focused, Calm and Balanced. It can Also Help You Feel More Connected to the Earth and to Yourself. By Practicing Muladhara Exercises Regularly, You May Notice a Decrease in Stress & Anxiety and an Increase in Inner Strength, Confidence, Sleep and Self-Awareness.
